BEHIND THE CAMERA

Debarchan Chatterjee, born and brought up in Kolkata, India. A self-taught photojournalist who has worked with several international agencies as a freelance photojournalist . He has worked as a freelance news photojournalist based in Kolkata for ZUMA Press Agency ( USA) and as a photographer and video producer for Nur Photo Agency ( Italy ) .Debarchan Chatterjee is also a full time member of Diversify Photo . As a photographer , his work largely revolves around the genre of news reportage and documentary photography , with focus on narrating the social , political and religious atmosphere of India through his camera. Recently he has the opportunity and experience to cover India's COVID-19 crisis in an around eastern part of the country for his agency and Deutsche Presse-Agentur (Germany ). Currently he is employed to cover India's geo-political turmoil in an around eastern part of India.
